Cheese with a light, thin rind, semi-hard, its main characteristic is its highly creamy textureThis means that at certain times during the maturing process it must be bandaged to prevent the white to ivory-coloured paste from spilling out through the cracks in the still soft rind. With lactic and vegetable aromas, and an intense and developed taste, it is melting on the palate, very slightly salty and slightly bitter, this characteristic is due to the use of vegetable rennet.

It is made by hand, using 100% natural products, using the same production process as Torta del Casar, but it is matured for longer than Torta del Casar.

Smooth and unctuous texture in the mouth; ivory-white appearance and delicate aroma.

  • It can also be served with any kind of nuts.
