Kasteel Donker was launched in 1989 and was the first beer in the Kasteel range to be brewed by Kasteel Brouwerij Van Honsebrouck. It is a dark Belgian Quadrupel-style beer with a strong, robust profile and a roasted malt and coffee aroma. Its flavour is sweet with roasted notes of caramel, coffee and chocolate.
