Brouwerij Bosteels
Brouwerij Bosteels is a brewery founded by Evarist Bosteels in 1791 in Bruggenhout, Belgium. Their Kwak beer is inspired by the story of the Dendermonde brewer and innkeeper Pawel Kwak. He invented the famous wooden stand that allowed the drivers of the mail coach to enjoy their beer without getting out of the wagon, as they were forbidden by law to leave their vehicle to drink. Brouwerij Bosteels started brewing Kwak in 1980. They also brew the well-known Tripel Karmeliet.
