La Chouffe Blonde
Chouffe Blonde is a golden-coloured Belgian Strong Ale, brewed by top fermentation with secondary fermentation in the bottle. It is unfiltered and therefore has a characteristic cloudy appearance. This Belgian beer has a strong profile, fruity aroma with hints of coriander and a characteristic, slightly fruity and spicy flavour with a hint of hops. Alcohol content: 8 proof.
Brasserie d'Achouffe
The Belgian brewery Brasserie d'Achouffe is located in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes region. It was founded by Pierre Gobron and his brother-in-law Chris Bauweraerts, who started brewing beer as a hobby in the 1970s. With a budget of less than 5000 euros, they launched their first beer in 1982: La Chouffe.
This beer was a huge success and Chouffe beers gradually took an increasingly prominent place in the Belgian craft beer scene. The Duvel Moortgat brewing group acquired Brasserie d'Achouffe at the end of 2006 and its beers are now available in more than 40 countries.
