Pack 4 Tripel Karmeliet 33 cl 1 glass
Looking for a beer gift for a Belgian beer lover? This Triple Karmeliet beer pack is the perfect gift for any beer lover. This box contains 4 bottles of Belgian beer Tripel Karmeliet 33 cl and an original glass specially designed for tasting this beer. Tripel Karmeliet is a top-fermented Belgian lager with secondary fermentation in the bottle, brewed with a combination of three cereals: wheat, oats and barley.
Brouwerij Bosteels launched it on the market in the late 1990s and its name is inspired by a beer from 1680 with a similar recipe that belonged to the Carmelite convent in Dendermonde. It is clear in appearance and has an amber colour with golden highlights and a fine, compact and persistent head. It has an intense malty aroma with herbal notes. On the palate it is smooth and very balanced with a strong malt presence and a spicy touch. Long and bitter finish. Alcohol content: 8.4 proof.
Brouwerij Bosteels
Brouwerij Bosteels is a family brewery with more than 200 years of history. It was founded in 1791 by Jean-Baptist Bosteels and since then the brewery has passed through seven generations of Bosteels. In 1930, Antoine Bosteels, belonging to the fifth generation, started exporting his beer to other regions such as Ghent, Antwerp and Brussels. His son Ivo Bosteels brought back the iconic Kwak beer in 1980 and Antoine Bosteels, the current manager, was responsible for the brewery's turnaround, putting the focus on strong beers.
